We attended Southampton Boat Show along with our sister office in Newcastle for the full period staying a lovely apartment in the city centre. The show started with wonderful weather and a summer atmosphere which slowly diminished during the week as the rain and wind set president. Our Jeanneau range proved very popular with the Merry Fisher range continuing its impressive appeal. The NC33 is a lovely addition to the inboard power boat range and showed off its classy and fascinating look on the inboard range. Over on the sail stand the new Sun Odyssey 410 was a huge success with constant queues and viewings of the new model.
I had a little wander over to the other brands which Jeanneau compete with such as Beneteau, Quicksilver etc, these do provide promising signs but overall they dont meet the high standard which Jeanneau set themselves. The Jeanneau brand has cemented themselves as top boat builders and this feeds through with the models they are producing consistency and this is clear to see when compared to competitive brands.
