There are two configurations available for the Jeanneau Leader 40 flagship sports cruiser. New owners will make the choice between the Open and Sport top version.  The Sport top has the advantage of giving protection from the elements, whereas the open version complete with GRP arch lets you soak up every ounce of daylight. A difficult choice to make for any boat buyer. Its fair to say that in cooler climates the hard top version is favoured against the sport top. But the point should be made that its not only the rain that causes discomfort. Exposure to the sun on the water can be a problem.
