Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 41 DS… Pure pleasure.

Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 41 DS 16The 2012  addition to the Sun Odyssey Deck saloon range is the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 41 DS. Her hull was designed by Philippe Briand, the interior is by super yacht interior designers Franck Darnet and Olivier Flahault.

Together with the Jeanneau team  the designers have produced a very spacious, sleek and modern yacht, that’s  still very much in-keeping with Jeanneau’s concept of the deck saloon.

Taking a look in more detail at this beautiful yacht, we find some of the key features that make her distinctive are the accent colours in taupe on deck and transom, flush hatches, twin helm, a long and spacious cockpit.

price-button-redEasy access transom is a must on a Jeanneau  Deck Saloon Sailboat and the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 41 DS is no exception, access to the transom is very easy indeed.

Down below carefully thought out detail ensures great aesthetics, functionality and ergonomics, all set off nicely with a Mediterranean sofa, innovative galley area and touch latch hardware. Jeanneau have used rich materials such as walnut wood, stainless steel, white lacquered cabinets and light floorboards. The clever two-tone vinyl finish on ceiling panels is a stunning visual addition to the look and feel of the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 41 DS. We are confident no other boats in her  class offers this level of finish.

The raised saloon flooring in the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 41 DS allows for excellent visibility while standing. In keeping with all DS sailboats additional storage areas are created by the raised floor, this design feature is one of many that sets the Jeanneau DS Range apart from competitors. Multiple hull ports provide views of the water even when seated. The owners aft cabin is remarkably light and airy for a sailboat of this size.

360 Docking on the Jeanneau DS Yachts

It’s so simple to make a motor run in any direction in a clean workshop using controls from a computer.  When the harsh marine environment is thrown into the mixing pot then it becomes very difficult to achieve constancy and reliability in this fairly simple process. Imagine what would happen in a crowded marina if your Sailboat suddenly did the opposite to what you asked it on the joystick? It would quite simply be a disaster.

Until now the technology has not been available at an affordable price required to achieve a level of reliability required. Jeanneau are delighted that there investment in time and research has blossomed into results, allowing a new generation of Yachting to begin.

With 360 Docking fitted to a Sun Odyssey 41 DS, it’s like having a professional yachts person by your side every step of the way. You can park your pride and joy perfectly time after time.

Many people who have busy lives dream about owning a Yacht. A yacht  must be big enough for all the family and friends who will join you in your dream. They will also want to have a stress free experience with you at the helm of your yacht. Even if you have had hours of practice and have a powerful bow thruster fitted to your Sailboat there will be many occasions when you just wish you could go sideways a foot or two. Or perhaps or hold you position with absolute accuracy in almost all weather conditions. Many people spend a season out and about on their boat and loose the skill required to park in a congested marina over the winter lay up. With 360 Docking you can feel confident even if you hardly ever bother with marina berthing.

Once you’re out of the marina into safe water there is no need for stress, you have all the room in the world to learn and make your mistakes along the way without paying the embracing penalty of gouging another boat.

Too many people leave the Yachting hobby because the stress of getting out and back into a Marina berth means they don’t enjoy owning a Yacht.
