Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 419
A Jeanneau Yacht you can live on
From the outset the goal set for Philippe Briand (Naval Architect) set by Jeanneau was clear. Design a 40 foot’ cruiser yacht that offered great performance that was easy to sail and a yacht you can live on. The interior must have a contemporary feel, be that modern apartment on the sea. Philippe set about this task from a blank canvas, knowing that a new forty footer would not only need to be nimble, able to race around the cans but such a yacht would need to have a big yacht presence, a real blue water feel. A Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 419 Yacht would in-fact need to be able to cross an ocean with ease. We believe Philippe Briand has ticked all the boxes in his design of the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 419.
A high-aspect or performance rig and several choices of sail plan make the blue print of the Sun Odyssey 419 adaptable to almost every conceivable requirement. From club racing to blue water cruising, Jeanneau have lavished the latest advances in hull design and technology on the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 419 Yacht. Significantly the introduction of a hard chine on the aft quarter of the hull increases stability and down wing performance, while creating extra volume in the aft cabins.
A yacht you can live in
Below deck, attention to detail can be felt throughout. The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 419 offers a light spacious contemporary interior. In addition, more choices of quality fabrics and a choice of traditional holly and cherry or oak laminate flooring, make for a living space that can be fully personalised. Two cabin layouts are available including a 3 cabin with 2 heads option that includes a separate shower compartment.
The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 419 has already received the 2010/2011 European Yacht of the Year Award. This nomination comes from the major European magazines from 11 different countries. We believe you will agree with us that this award It’s well-deserved!
See a 419 get built
We believe that buying a new Jeanneau Yacht involves learning about every aspect of a yacht. What better way of fully understanding the principle if a 419 construction than making the trip to a jeanneau factory. Production of the Jeanneau 419 Yacht has been reconfigured in order to acomodate production demands. The 419 may now be built in either France, America, China, Italy or Northern Europe depending on supply demand. some Jeanneau factories offer accompanied tours for new owners and prospective owners of jeanneau product. Ask the sales team at NYB Conwy where you can see a 419 in production and we promise a factory tour will be fascinating.
At NYB Conwy we normally have a jeanneau in stock that is available for test sails. The 419 is a big yacht to have available just for such a purpose. Depending on the time of year and delivery constraints why not ask us for test sail availability’s? Jeanneau often make a number of boats available in easy to access locations, we will be delighted to help you arrange a sail on one of the boats or make that visit to the factory.
