Construction: GRP |
Accommodation: Aft bunk version with 8 berths in 3 cabins. Eberspacher heating with outlets in each cabin.
This boat offers a max. 7/8 berth layout in three separate cabin areas, or 4 berths without using the main cabin. Two separate toilet compartments, pressurised hot and cold water system, blown air diesel fired heating and approximately 6'2" headroom in the main saloon.
The layout follows the standard Peter Brett design in the aft cabin, which allows for additional cockpit locker stowage. Two very good sized hanging lockers are provided which will prove useful for longer distance or live-aboard cruising.
The quality of fit out is exceptional with carefully selected and matching Teak faced veneer plywood bulkheads throughout and solid Teak trim all very nicely silk varnished/polished. Hull and deckhead linings are of a mellow white foam backed vinyl throughout.
Quality upholstery throughout is of an attractively patterned blue material.
The toilet compartments have white faced bulkheads for the ease of cleaning and traditional Teak gratings. The attractive saloon with keyhole aft bulkhead, (a hallmark feature of Peter Brett designs) provides for comfortable settee/berths to port and starboard with lockers and shelving outboard and two cleverly concealed but easily accessible pull-out root berths.
Aft to port is the galley with 2 Burner stove with grill and oven, twin stainless steel sinks, good locker stowages and work surfaces with refrigerator.
To starboard, the navigation area with large chart table having a lifting top for chart stowage has the electronic instrumentation adjacent, electrical panel and drawers beneath the chart table. Stowage beneath the navigator’s seat with an oilskin hanging locker behind.
There is a good sized hanging locker and dressing table fitment on the aft bulkhead with two drawer and further locker stowages. Offset to starboard is a secure companionway to the cockpit but there is a second companionway forward of the sprayhood over the engine casing to the saloon - a good feature if privacy to the aft cabin is required.
The comfortable cockpit with good depth coamings has good sized lockers to port and starboard and with a further locker beneath the helmsman's bench. Sole boards throughout are Teak faced with a holly 'caulking' line and compliment the overall quality and classic ambiance of this lovely yacht. |
