Construction:

Accommodation: Six berths, double aft cabin with vanity unit, twin berth in forepeak with infill. U shaped seating around table makes double in saloon. Layout B design, Teak bookshelves in saloon and aft cabin. Thermostat for control of heating system in aft. Teak and brass fittings throughout. Galley fitted with Taylor gas cooker, 4 burners with large oven. Twin s/s sinks, refrigerator. 2 heads, Lavac system.

Navigational Aids: Koden radar, Garmin GPS plotter and integral echosounder with repeaters aft deck. Suunto compass, wind/speed/direction and log. VHS DSC rasio by Simrad, Navtex, brass clock and barometer. Navigation lights and deck lights.

Engines and Tankage: 80hp Ford Sabre diesel engine to a 22" 3 blade prop, with spurs rope cutter. Engine hour meter reads 2020 hrs. Fuel capacity 120 gallons (twin tanks). Max speed 8 knots cruising at 6-7 knots, fuel consumption 5 litres per hour at 1500rpm/5 knots. 2 pairs of batteries (starter and domestic) charging 105amp alternator via Adverc regulator and from shore powered charger, new Ampair wind generator (2002)

Sails and Spars: Standard ketch rig, main, mizzen and roller reefing attached to bowsprit. All shrouds, stays and rigging screws replaced with stainless steel (AISI 35/1x19) and new Bamar rolling reefing foresail system (July 2003). New running rigging in 2003, all sails are North sails plus spare original Nauticat mizzen and main.

Equipment: 6 man liferaft (2004), Avon dinghy R2.5, Yamaha Malta outbard (1995), electric windlass and 40lb CQR anchor with 35mm chain. 2 x lifebuoys, small Danforth anchor pushpit mounted. Stainless steel and teak ladder on stern. Firdell blipper radar reflector. Warps & six fenders in holders plus 2 more. Electric bilge pump switched at panel and manual pump under step to aft cabin. Emergency helm in aft cabin. Fire extinguishers & bracket Tachometer, engine and gearbox oil pressure gauges. Engine hours meter, engine coolent temperature. Volt and amp meter. 2 x fuel gauges, fresh water tank level indicator. Adverc battery volt/amp level indicator and alarm.

Remarks: This boat first sailed on the Hamble but more recently in North Wales coastal waters and the Irish sea, visiting Ireland and the Isle of Man. She is comfortable and a powerful motorsailer. She has good sailing ability and comes into her own in a stiff breeze. In a blow the vessel inspires confidence and security whether helmed from the comfort of the wheelhouse or the aft deck.
