New Merry fisher 755 handed over at Conwy

Jeanneau Merry Fisher 755 at Conwy Marina

June saw the arrival of this stunning Jeanneau Merry Fisher 755  into Conwy Marina. The 755 “Legend” sports the blue hull and teak accents on deck which shows off her class and draws admiring glances from all. She has become a very highly specified boat, boasting twin Lowrance plotters, Radar, AIS, full covers, shorepower, anchor windlass, fridge, microwave, and sea toilet. The owner is keeping her on a trailer, allowing him maximum access to the various fishing grounds he is intending to visit with his new boat.

From her arrival, the Merry Fisher 755 was a head-turner, showing the prowess of Jeanneau’s design team both in her exterior aesthetics and her practical and comfortable interior. Her lines, whilst paying respect to Merry Fishers of the past, are completely new and offer a sleek design whilst keeping the cabin open and light.

On the water, she performed with ease at low speed and topped out at 28kts on her initial sea trial. The helm position is excellent with a 360 degree view around the boat and her new owner commented how positive she felt to navigate. The owner was fortunate enough to berth her at Conwy for 2 nights whilst the boat was handed over and spent a few hours getting to grips with her over the weekend. The weather was warm and whilst the wind blew up some bumpy seas, the Merry Fisher 755′s hull coped admirably providing sure-footed yet nimble progress.

Her owners are keen to get some use out of her this season and whilst she is kitted out to provide some serious fishing capabilities, she also offers a complement of features to give her true cruising capability. The galley is functional rather than excessive, and a built in fridge, hob and sink offer great facilities for a weekend on the water.  The large, open plan cabin is light and airy and has plenty of ventilation, offering up to 4 berths if required by using the convertible saloon area.

With one very happy owner already catered for, we are expecting further orders in the near future and will be adding one of these fine boats to our stock collection at our Deganwy showroom soon. May we take this opportunity to wish her new owners all the very best and hope that they are able to take full enjoyment of her in the coming years. By Robin Groom – Network Yacht Brokers Conwy
