The weekend of the 5th & 6th November saw the Conwy Marina Berth Holders Association (CMBHA) join forces with Network Yacht Chandlers to promote the effective and safe mooring of boats at Conwy and Deganwy Marinas. the “Secure your Boat” event offered free advice to those who attended on which rope to choose and how best to secure your boat, particularly during winter months when weather can put additional demands on mooring warps and the steadfastness of lines.
As an incentive for berth holders to achieve the best possible security for their boat, Network Chandlers offered a discount of 30% off all rope sales for the weekend, and for those that were unable to attend the event, the offer is being EXTENDED UNTIL DECEMBER. This will give everyone the opportunity to have reliable and secure lines protecting their cherished assets for the foreseeable future. Boats that are not properly secured offer risk to not only themselves but nearby vessels also.
